MOSCOW -- The maneuver, which has been underway in the Caspian Sea for 10 days, continued Saturday in the presence of the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov and monitored by Iranian observers.

A broadcast by the Russian ORT TV channel said that the Russian Federation Air Force conducted numerous operations at the war games.

During the maneuver, several armors which left Aquarama ship at Astrakhan Port reached Mokhach Castle in 24 hours.

Aquarama ship carries 60 armors and related forces on each mission.

The main objective of the maneuver is to coordinate international anti-terrorist operations directed against clandestine fishing and drug smuggling bands.

Today's maneuver was partially dedicated to operations directed against separatist forces.

Azerbaijan Republic and Kazakhstan also took part in the maneuver, while the Islamic Republic of Iran attended as an observer.

Turkmenistan, however, turned down a proposal to attend the maneuver as an observer.
